What is a Buyer's Agent? Why should you use the services of a Buyer's Agent?
A Buyer's Agent is an agent that works for YOU the Buyer. In a real estate transaction it is important to have your own representation. Here is how most of us look for a house. We search for homes on the Internet or in print ads. Then we get the address and drive by. Up to this point we're good. It's the next step that is the stickler. When we see the house we are interested in what do we do? We call the agent on the sign. That seems to make sense. However, the agent on the sign is working for the seller, not You as the Buyer. They have a legal obligation to work in the best interest of the seller. This includes getting the seller the best price.
To be sure You as a Buyer have someone working for You, get a Buyer's Agent. As you search for homes on this site and in the attached pages, you will no doubt find something you like.
